Friday night Ms.Wawra needed help with EFF at her school. Basically it was like the old Fun Fair at Sheridan Hills but with a trend toward environmentalism. Mom and Dad helped Ms. Wawra teach kids how to make "sound sandwiches"- ie, toungue depressors with rubber bands around them to make them sound like a kazoo. Long day for Ms Wawra. good thing we were able to help.
Ms Wawra still has a smile after teaching 30 kids for a full week, being in her classroom since 6:30 am and teaching her 150th kid how to make a 'sound sandwich' at 7:30 pm. Ain't she a real teacher??!!
One last look before the workers come. Remember Dad's closet with his pots and garden stuff?? going, going, gone!
Here's Dad's workbench! It gets to stay but the wall and Grandpa Georges nail jars have to go. Don't worry Dad saved them. :-)
Lots of wood to get rid of. The wall it's leaning on has to go to. Poor Chloe-- no privacy.
These are the wood haulers. First you lay down the moving blanket. Then you pile the wood on the moving blanket being careful of the nails--lots and lots of nails..........
Then you wrap up the wood in the moving blanket and c-a-r-e-f-u-l-l-y carry the wood out of the basement. And of coarse smiling all the while. :-)
Then you dump the wood out of the moving blanket into the dumpster- all the while it is raining! And then you do it all over again and again and again and.......
There goes the wall to the laundry. Poor Chloe- no privacy!
The 'wood haulers' got a new job- rolling up the floor- not easy! Right Sharon?!
"Hmmm- that's where those bugs came from"
Chloe has to 'go'. Now what does she do??
Everybody needed a break---Sharon or Chloe? Who needed it more?
ALL DONE- ALL GONE - except for the memories :-(
